1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account on the Gentle Storm Racing (GSR) network, whether as a verified Second Life Racer or a Spectator/Fan, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the network.

2. Account Types & Verification

• Racer Accounts: To access chat networks and profile management, users must verify their Second Life legacy avatar name using the official GSR in-game verification HUD. Falsifying avatar ownership will result in an immediate network ban.
• Fan Accounts: Non-racers may register to access live events, multimedia, and tracking features. Fan accounts do not possess broadcasting rights in the global chat feeds.

3. Code of Conduct & Communications

The GSR Comms Network is strictly moderated. Users agree to maintain competitive integrity, sportsmanship, and refrain from harassment, hate speech, or sharing malicious links.

Administration reserves the right to silence, suspend, or terminate accounts found violating communication standards without prior warning.

4. Data Collection & Privacy

GSR collects email addresses strictly for account authentication, password recovery, and network security. We do not sell user data. Telemetry data generated by SL Racers on GSR tracks is the property of the network and is used to calculate leaderboards and public profile statistics.
