Welcome to the Pro Plus Academy. Gentle Storm Racing isn't just about crossing the finish line—it's an integrated RPG experience. Here, you'll learn how to navigate the Story Campaign, optimize your Skill Tree, and dominate the Second Life circuits using our custom telemetry HUDs.
1. The Campaign
• Start with Chapter 1: The Syndicate Infiltration.
• Sign in to your dashboard to track your current active quest objective.
• Your choices during quests impact your driver's Alignment (Good, Neutral, Bad).
• Complete quests to earn massive XP payouts and exclusive vehicle unlocks.
2. Economy & XP
• XP (Experience): Earned by finishing races, doing time trials, and completing campaign milestones.
• Storm Coins: The official GSR currency. Used to purchase cosmetics, store items, and hire pit crew members.
• Check the Daily and Weekly Bounties on the Campaign Hub for extra income.
3. Skill Tree & HUD
• As you earn XP, your Driver Level increases (Max Level 50).
• Every 5 levels grants Tuning Points.
• Apply Tuning Points to your Second Life GSR HUD to tweak drift physics, acceleration, and handling.
• Higher levels unlock Pit Crew slots to reduce mandatory pit stop timers during endurance races.
Quick Start Guide
Register Your Account
To participate in the Pro Plus ecosystem, you must link your Second Life avatar to a GSR web account. Click "Sign In" at the top right of the site to create your profile. This connects your in-world racing telemetry to the Supabase database.
Acquire Your First Vehicle & HUD
Visit the GSR Headquarters in Second Life to grab your starter Tier 1 vehicle and equip the official GSR Racing HUD. The HUD is mandatory—it communicates with the start lines, pit pads, and tracks your lap times directly to our leaderboards.
Hit the Track
Open the Story Campaign tab to find your first quest, or check the Racetracks hub to find open practice circuits. Complete laps, earn your first batch of XP, and start your climb up the Skill Tree!
